Giorgetto Giugiaro
My inspiration is Giorgetto Giugiaro who is an italian designer born in from Garessio, Italy. Giorgetto Giugiaro's grandfather painted frescoes at churches, and his father made decorative religious art and oil paintings. In 1955, at the end of a school year exhibition some of his automotive drawings caught the eye of the nephew of fiat's chief engineer, Dante Giacosa who signed him to fiat special vehicles styling center in Mirafiori, while he was only seventeen. Although, none of his designs were approved, he was later assigned to make a test design which was approved and came to be Alfa Romeo 2000.
This was a really inspiring story to me because it tells me that you can start your designing career at very young and also if none of your designs get approved you will always get other opportunities to succeed.
